Over the years we have had the honor of designing and making numerous wedding bands, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, some characterized by a simple engraving, others in white or pink gold, with diamonds or other precious stones (such as emeralds, topazes, sapphires).
Our mission is to create jewels capable to meet all the expectations of our customers, but also to represent them, by developing small masterpieces of modern jewelry. We are sculptors of light, we represent the soul, celebrating life.

Beautiful custom and artisan made jewelry. I purchased a ring when visiting Florence just after Christmas and they had to ship it to me in the United States because I was leaving to visit Rome that evening and needed it resized. They timed the delivery to be just after my return home to the U.S.! It was super securely packaged and was perfect. I constantly get compliments and cannot wait to make another purchase!

Beautiful, Handmade Jewelry If you want to avoid the tourist trap and mass produced jewelry, then please visit Jean Saade and his nephew Carlos for unique pieces. I look forward to seeing Jean every time I go to Florence. His jewelry is handcrafted and he can explain how every piece is made. I practically love his Florentine style rings because of the intricate detailing and craftsmanship. Over a decade later I still get compliments on my ring. I recently went back, found that he still believes in making beautiful quality pieces and couldn’t resist buying some earrings. Best Jewelry in all of Italy! We first shopped at Jean Saade in 2008 when our friend and leather shop owner, Smilie, introduced my husband and I to the most honest, best craftsman, and the nicest person you will ever meet! We visit with Jean every two years when we are in Florence and I continue to fall in love with a new design every time. We consider Jean a good friend after all these years of visiting and shopping with him. He is so helpful and he nicest man. I always send my friends visiting Florence to him and he always finds a perfect piece of jewelry for them with a wonderful price. Excellent customer service My wife and I visited this Jewellery shop in Florence and the owner was very helpful. They showed us exactly what we wanted and also gave us a reasonable price. The stop is conveniently located close to the main tourist spot. We were very impressed with the excellent customer service offered. Our favorite jeweler in Florence We stumbled upon Jean Saade's jewelry store about 13 years ago. We bought several pieces of jewelry at that visit. We returned this past January. When we walked in, he greeted us by name! He remembered us, what we bought, how many kids we had! Needless to say, we purchased more of his handmade beautiful jewelry. Knowing we were visiting, he resized a ring overnight! My wife gets endless compliments on the jewelry purchased there.

Jean Saade has beautiful florentine jewelry, but even more important, his customer service is truly exceptional! Having bought a bracelet for my daughter which was too big last October, I emailed Jean about exchanging it for a smaller one. He said no problem and would be happy to send a replacement (assuming it was still in original condition which it is). My friend brought it with her to Florence yesterday and had a problem finding the store...she went to 6 B (blue is residential) and Jean called me and explained 6R is RED sign for commercial at the other end of same street...good tip for any tourists to know in Florence. Jean was most gracious and exchanged the bracelet in original box within 2 minutes! Not only does he have beautiful florentine jewelry, but prices are fair and he is wonderful. Definitely on my go-to list!!

The only jewellers you’ll ever need to visit in Florence. My mother and I were strolling the streets of Firenze, and stumbled upon this humble store front on our first day. Absolutely fell in love with the craftsmanship and the family behind the store and brought home their iconic Florentine ring and several other pieces. We went to Ponte Vecchio (bridge of gold) after shopping at Jean Saade and was astonished that they were trying to sell us poor quality gold. We loved the Jean Saade store so much, we came into the store on our second day and bought even more Florentine pieces and also met Jean himself. Love the store, the memories and the family themselves. Don’t buy anything from Ponte Vecchio and only from Jean Saade!!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jean and team for making our Florence experience amazing.

We were in Florence for our 10th anniversary and I wanted to get something special to remember the occasion. We looked in several stores before we found Jean Saade. This is a family owned business and the owners were very, very nice. They were not pushy sales people, they were just honest and warm. Their pieces are custom made and beautiful. I bought a beautiful ring that I just love. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I came to Florence on our honeymoon, hoping to find our wedding bands. We wanted to be able to associate our rings with the special memory of our honeymoon, and not with some generic retailer. We did our research ahead of time, scouting out about 6 of TripAdvisor's highest rated jewelry stores in Florence, and visited each one. Jean Saade simply blew the rest of them out of the water. The delicate Florentine-style gold work here simply has no competition based on quality alone. Outside of that, we loved that Jean Saade is a family-owned business that hand crafts their jewelry in their own workshop, not a corporation-owned store front like many of those on Ponto Vecchio. However, they had a level of professionalism in dealing with international customers that none of the other family-owned businesses that we visited displayed. Carlos and Jean helped us find and size the most perfect rings, and even did mine at a half size since I was in-between two sizes. They offered to get us our rings within two days, but because we were leaving the next day, they shipped the rings to us in beautiful packaging within a week of arriving home. Everything about both the experience and the rings was smooth, professional, and just perfect. Do yourself a favor and just visit Jean Saade when you're in Florence - don't waste your time like we did shopping around! Save that time to go see all the incredible sights and trust that Jean and Carlos will take good care of you.

What a treasure!! Don't miss this shop!! I'm a jewelry fanatic...always buy a nice piece to remind me of my travels. Knowing that Florence is the gold capitol of the world, I was looking forward to finding a truly unique piece to add to my collection. Looking in the shops on the Ponte Vechhio...I was a bit discouraged. Either the pieces all looked the same (I was told that there is one person who owns 10 or more shops in that area, hence the repetition) or the prices were highly-inflated to cover the overhead. Just a short distance from the "main drag" I found Jean Saade. The shop is small, but the selection is truly unique. Artisan gold at reasonable prices. Bought a ring that I will wear forever...and I'll smile each time I put it on. Perfect!!

If you want consistent quality jewelry pieces, at non tourist prices, then go to Jean Saade's store next to Piazza Signoria. I've purchased a couple pieces over the last couple years, and I still get compliments all the time on my necklace and earrings. My suggestion would be to shop around the other gold/jewelry stores to get a feel of what you want, then come here to purchase. They even custom make jewelry! The one thing that really stood out was that they were really honest with their opinions, not pressuring you to buy and telling you the truth on how the pieces might look on you. Well, they did for me anyhow. lol Anyways, if you stop by, tell Carlos and Jean I said Ciao! You won't be disappointed, trust me. You will be disappointed if you purchase on Ponte Vecchio, that I can promise you. Tourist trap.

Buy all of your jewelry only from Jean Saade! I received the most beautiful ring for my birthday from Jean Saade!! It is a combination of both white gold and rose gold with diamonds and it is sooooo beautiful. I have received more complements on this ring than any piece of jewelry I have ever worn! Jean is one of the most charming and humble people I have had the pleasure meeting and his jewelry is gorgeous, unique and really just perfect!

Jean saade jewelry is just fabulous I bought the most exquisite gold mesh bracelet from jean saade jewels. Mr. Saade could not have been nicer or more helpful. His prices were decent and the quality impeccable. Mr. Saade was extremely helpful when dealing with duty free procedures.

Lovely shop and jewelry I went into Jean's store to look at his designs and immediately fell in love with the delicate, handmade pieces. It's impossible to resist the jewelry. Quality, Value and Honesty My family and I discovered this wonderful shop by reading other Trip Advisor reviews. We were looking for a 21st birthday gift for my daughter. Not only did Jean go out of his way to find the exact piece my daughter was looking for, his pricing was so, so much more reasonable than the shops on the Ponte Vecchio. In addition, I fell in love with an amazing diamond bracelet with a spectacular Florentine design. He was able to fit it for me on our very short timeline. Best of all, when I got back to New York and had it appraised, it was valued at TWICE what we paid for it. Jean and his nephew were a pleasure to deal with and we will be back!!

Beautiful jewellery I saw a ring that I liked online before I went on holiday to Florence, however, it was made in yellow gold and I prefer to wear white gold or platinum. I went to the shop and was advised that I could have the ring I wanted custom made. I am now in possession of a beautiful sapphire and diamond white gold ring. It is beautiful and is far better than I expected. The service and workmanship from this business are great. I also feel that the ring I had made was very competitively priced and good value for money. Don't bother going to the Ponte Vecchio for jewellery when in Florence go here for great service, value for money and unique pieces. I am so happy that I found this great jeweller online and would have no hesitation in going here again.

Jean and staff are very friendly and were able to zero in on exactly what my wife wanted. She really loved it and said it was exactly what she was wanting. Keep in mind this was all via description as the item was a gift to be given months later. Jean buzzed me through the front door and then showed me a few things after I briefly described what I was looking for. He also told me about the VAT discount and how to get it, in addition he gave me a better price without having to haggle or feel pressured at all. Very friendly and definitely worth checking out if you are ever in Firenze, Italia!

We were visiting Florence for the first time and I really wanted a piece of jewelry I could remember the trip by. Jean Saade was just the answer. He is not high pressure and his pierces exhibit the fine Florentine craftsmanship that he is known for. We needed time to think so we sat at a cafe then walked back by his shop and passed it to a bistro for lunch and then returned to make the purchase! He sized it for me while we were in Tuscany and met me at his shop a week later to pick it up. He could not have been nicer or more professional than he was! Go to the Ponte di Vecchio for pictures but go see Jean Saade for your keepsake jewelry pieces! You will not find a better deal and will not be disappointed!

Beautiful shop Jean Saade has a beautiful jewelry store. I specifically wanted a gold chain with a pendant with the Florentine lily. Jean showed me the markings on the pendant and necklace that insured it was 18K gold. I had both appraised when we returned home and indeed it was well worth the price we paid.

Beautiful Florentine jewelry Because Florence is best known for its gold jewelry (and leather products), we thought we'd shop for a pair of earrings for my husband's sister, Amanda, (and maybe find something special for me as well). Given that there are hundreds of jewelry shops all over Florence, mostly tourist traps on the Ponte Vecchio, we were a bit overwhelmed as to where to go to find a beautiful gift at a reasonable price. While we were finishing our shopping at Goccia shoes (I wrote a review for them as well), we asked Nino, the sales associate, if he knew of a good jewelry shop where we could find some small gifts for family back home. He sent us to Jean Saade, where his mother is a long-time client. He said they would take care of us, and they did… Not five minutes later, Carlos, one of Jean Saade's sales associates, came to where we were to personally escort us to the shop, which was just a few blocks away. The shop is tiny and located near the Ponte Vecchio, but just far enough away from the swarms of tourists. Each piece of jewelry in the shop is a piece of art, and it was obvious that they take pride in their work. They carry both traditional Florentine style jewelry and contemporary. Both are designed and hand crafted by Jean Saade. The owner of the shop, Jean, and Carlos, helped us find the perfect gifts, and there was no hard sell or pressure to purchase. I ended up buying a gorgeous sterling silver St. Francis pendant and chain, that was also a Jean Saade design. The craftsmanship is perfection and we didn't end up spending a fortune on our purchases. As I wear my pendant, I have nothing but warm and fuzzy associations of our final days in Italy, walking along the ancient, cobblestone streets of Florence. I look forward to our next trip back, and we will definitely revisit this shop.

We are repeat customers My husband and I returned to Florence this past spring, and we made sure to visit Jean Saade. Mr. Saade and his nephew, Carlos, are very warm and gracious people, and they welcomed us back to their city. (I wrote a much more detailed review last year, if you would like to know how we first became loyal customers of theirs.) On this visit, I wanted to get my cousin a special thank you gift, and they helped me pick out the perfect necklace for her: an exquisite 14k gold Florentine fleur de lys charm on a gold chain. The Florentine fleur de lys is the city's ancient emblem; it is much more ornate and IMHO more attractive than the French version, and it can be seen all over the city. My cousin loves her necklace and wears it all the time. We plan to return to Florence this winter, and we will be sure to visit Jean and Carlos for more shopping. Thank you for another wonderful experience!

Icing on the cake for any trip to Florence Our waiter at a restaurant recommended this place to us and we went the next day, an hour before we had to leave Florence. It had not occurred to me to even look in an Italian jewellery shop as I usually shop in Dubai or the UK. I was astounded by the quality of the workmanship of the pieces, each one unique and lovingly made. Jean and his cousin served us, they are both amiable honest men who ensured that we bought the pieces most suitable for my purpose. I finally chose a rose gold and diamond bracelet of a typical Florentine design and similar earrings. When we went to check out of the hotel the receptionist commented on it and took one of the business cards he had given me. We then dropped into a restaurant for our last bite to eat and a couple on the adjacent table also commented on the jewellery and asked where we had bought it and took another card.The compliments have not stopped since ! I am thrilled with my purchases and will definitely return.

"Looking for Quality Florentine Jewelry" My wife and I first visited Jean Saade approximately twelve years ago on our twenty fifth wedding anniversary...My wife purchased a beautiful ring designed by the dad. We have not seen another ring like it. Each time we visit Florence we make it a point to visit Jean Saade. Our first trip has turned into many more trips. Not only is he our favorite jeweler but he has become a very good friend. This year for my birthday he sent me a crucifix I was looking at buying when we were there in May. If you are interested in purchasing Florentine jewelry at a great price you definitely need to visit my friend Jean Saade. You will be glad you did.

A special jeweler My daughter, granddaughter (7 1/2) and I were looking for a non-touristy jeweler. A local resident recommended Jean Saade and she was spot on. He was simply lovely and so patient with my granddaughter. I was buying her a birthstone ring as her special memento from the trip. Mr Saade worked with her to help her pick the style of the ring. Mr. Saade also promised that the ring-- which was beautiful -- would arrive the first week of September and it did. I also purchase a necklace with colored stones. It is beautiful and so well made.

Unique jewellery We randomly came across the store and really liked the jewellery. We were approached by the owner of the shop and because of his warmth and niceness we had a great visit. We went back to the shop multiple times on our trip to Florence choosing the right ring for us and each time they see so friendly and welcoming. The jewellery was stunning and so much work goes into the pieces is amazing. The owners nephew was also so friendly and knowledgeable also. We bought a really nice ring that we are so happy with. We looked around so many jewellery shops in Florence and the quality and design here was better than anywhere and so was the service. They offered great value for money. Went above and beyond! I visited this lovely tucked away shop after reading reviews because I was concerned about all the sketchy looking jewelry around the city and I did not want to be ripped off. Not only did I get a beautiful pair of earrings for a great price BUT the owner saved me! The very day I bought my earrings I lost one somehow! I was devastated and emailed him hoping he might sell me just one. He did one better and just gave me a new pair! I thought my trip was ruined but instead it was saved and I was reminded that there are still kind generous people in this world. Please visit this store, you won't regret it!

Stopped in here while staying in Florence. My wife was looking for a cornicello and where we had looked previously we weren't finding what she wanted. While stopping in here and talking with the owner we found what she wanted and some! I work at a small family owned jeweler in the US and this gave me the same feel as it is to work at home. Highly recommend!
