This coin pendant , bearing the image of the Emperor Claudius , Reigned from 41 - 54 a.d , the coin was struck in bronze Set in a Frame of 18 Kt rose and white Gold… Claudius was born on 1 August 10 BC in Gaul (now France) into the Roman imperial family. Nobody expected Claudius to become emperor. Although he was the only surviving heir of Augustus . Once in place, he became surprisingly popular , fairly successful , he made major improvements to Rome’s judicial system, passed laws protecting sick slaves, extended citizenship and increased women's privileges. He had succeeded where Caesar had failed , extending the Empire , Conquering Britain and north Africa .
